Background

Anthony Joseph is a professor of computer science at University of California, Berkeley. He earned his PhD in computer science from MIT, following his SM and SB in electrical engineering and computer science, also from MIT.

Interests

Joseph’s research focuses on genomics, secure machine learning, data centers, mobile/distributed computing, and wireless communications (networking and telephony). At Berkeley, he studies network and computer security, the security of machine learning in decision-making environments, critical cyber-infrastructure protection, mobile computing and networking, wireless telecommunication networks, overlay networks, and computer architectures for distributed systems.
