The trailblazers in human, academic, scientific and religious freedom have always been in the minority… It will take such a small committed minority to work unrelentingly to win the uncommitted majority. Such a group may transform America’s greatest dilemma into her most glorious opportunity.
Background
Sean Seymore is an associate professor of law and an associate professor of chemistry at Vanderbilt University. He holds a BS in chemistry from Tennessee (Tenneesse Scholar), a MS in chemistry from Georgia Institute of Technology, a PhD in chemistry from Notre Dame, and a JD from Notre Dame (Allen Endowment Fellow).
Interests
Seymore’s research focuses on how patent law should evolve in response to advances in science and technology and how the intersection of law and science is critical to the formation of public policy.
As an MLK visiting professor, Seymore worked on current research projects relating to the disclosure function of the patent system and transformative proposals to promote the shared policy goals of science and patent law.
